Some stereotypes about Baylor students are that everyone at Baylor is a Christian and are ignorant of the science, and are intolerant to other religions. Also, many people believe that everyone at Baylor is a rich kid from a rich family, and isn't there for academics, but instead just because their parents are rich.

I chose Baylor over other schools such as UT, A&M, and others because Baylor easily has the best Pre-Med program in the State of Texas and one of the best in the country. By the way, I'm not rich. Not many students are. So the stereotype that it's a bunch of rich kids going to Baylor is not true.

Baylor is a big school and there is a large amount of students who party just as hard as any other state school. On the other hand, because Baylor is a baptist university, if you are looking for a place to find friends who are growing in their faith and developing their relationship with God, Baylor is perfect.

I think the worst thing about Baylor is that sometimes it can very much live up to its stereotype as a rich and snobby private school. Although there is such a great variety of types of students, this has rarely happened to me, but you can sometimes you can get caught up the stereotype of the "Baylor Bubble" where seemingly nothing bad happens.

A person looking for a great sense of community and a strong education should apply to Baylor University. The campus boosts of many social clubs while keeping its academics in high regard. One definitely feels the Christian values on and off campus. Most students that attend Baylor also attend a church in Waco.
