Villanova University is a Roman Catholic institution of higher learning founded by the Order of Saint Augustine in 1842. Within this suburban campus close to Philadelphia , Villanova provides a comprehensive education rooted in the liberal arts; a shared commitment to the Augustinian ideals of truth, unity and love; and a community dedicated to service to others.

I find that Villanova is taking more and more steps to becoming the diverse campus it strives to be. While it is definately known that Villanova is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, it is definately not force fed to you throughout your years here. What IS really huge on the Villanova campus, however, is community service.

One college guide ranked Villanova number four out of the top 164 Catholic Colleges in America. The university, however, like so many other Catholic institutions, does not live up to its Catholic...

Additionally, Villanova is Catholic and Augustinian school meaning that it holds true to service, truth, and loyalty. Because Villanova has three wonderful aspects, academics, spirit, and service, it is beyond wonderful to attend.
